چکیده
The current study presents new geochronological and geochemical data for the Petrovitsa Pb-Zn deposit, Central Rhodopes, South Bulgaria. Based on in-situ U-Pb dating of titanites from pegmatites skarnified mineralized marbles, it aims to provide insights into pegmatite formation their relation hydrothermal system in region. Titanite is an abundant accessory mineral skarns within Madan ore district. Commonly, associates with feldspars, epidote, clinopyroxene, chlorite, hematite, zircon, apatite, allanite monazite both lithologies. Crystal size varies 5 μm 600 μm. combined analytical approach revealed compositional age variations studied divided into: (i) early formed magmatic; (ii) later hydrothermal. magmatic crystals are characterized by mean Th/U 1.91, Lu/Hf averaging at 0.59, Dy/Yb 2.03. chondrite-normalized REE patterns show LREE dominance over HREE. average ƩREE 6548 ppm. have a 0.22, 1.20, 1.50. HREE content slightly prevails LREE. two times lower compared – 3388 Negative Eu-anomaly common types. LA-ICP-MS geochronology shows well-defined distinction titanites. calculated weighted 48.9±2.3 Ма, while pegmatite-hosted dated 39.2±1.5 Ma. yield 37.7±1.3 Data suggest emplacement Rhodope metamorphic complex during late Ypresian. Later fluids precipitated younger different signature.

Zircon U-Pb geochronology links the end-Triassic extinction with the Central Atlantic Magmatic Province.
The end-Triassic extinction is characterized by major losses in both terrestrial and marine diversity, setting the stage for dinosaurs to dominate Earth for the next 136 million years. Despite the approximate coincidence between this extinction and flood basalt volcanism, existing geochronologic dates have insufficient resolution to confirm eruptive rates required to induce major climate pertur...
متن کاملMineralogy and geochemistry of Nodoushan Zn-Pb deposit: A transitional deposit in UDMA, Central Iran
Eocene magmatism with intermediate-acid tuffs and volcanic rocks, the host to the Nodoushan deposit in Yazd province, intruded by Oligocene early diorite and later granite plutonic rocks. The former involved in iron skarn (containing epidote and euhedral grossularite) to the north and northern part of the deposit, the latter contributed to fault-controlled Zn-Pb deposit. The structural features...

متن کاملGeological, fluid inclusion and isotopic characteristics of the Gardaneshir Zn–Pb deposit, Central Iran
Gardaneshir Pb–Zn deposit is hosted by dolomitic carbonates which is located in the SW Ardestan, central Iran. Ore body is stratabound type in this deposit. Primary ores in this type are composed of sphalerite, galena, barite and quartz with massive, banded, veined and disseminated structures. Evaluation of ore-grade at the Gardaneshir Pb-Zn deposit, based on chemical analysis which indicates a...
متن کاملMulti-step TIMS and CA-TIMS monazite U–Pb geochronology
Multi-step chemical abrasion thermal ionization mass spectrometry (CA-TIMS) methods were developed for monazite using six samples that vary in composition and age—Amelia, Jefferson County, Burke, Elk Mountain, 554 and Madagascar. To evaluate whether the multi-step CA-TIMS approach reveals complexities in either age or composition that might be masked by single-step analysis, this study presents...
